Romans 1:18 – 23 speaks of God’s righteous anger against sin. The section from Romans 1:18 to 3:20 is a discussion on the absolute dominance and pervasiveness of sin in the world and over all mankind. Paul discusses this subject within his presentation of the righteousness of God that is gifted to all those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. This gift of righteousness is the most glorious and wonderful news in light of the dominance and pervasiveness of sin and God’s righteous judgement against sin. Those who trust in Jesus are set free from the punishment, the power, and ultimately the presence of sin.
