This is the third and final message in the series on the family. The first message dealt with marriage. The second message was about parents and children. The third focusses on how relationships change when children leave their parent’s home, usually around the time that they get married.
The new relationships formed when children leave are each important and have their place. They can also often become a source of conflict. How should married children relate to their parents and the parents of their spouse and vice versa? What about the role of grandparents in the family? Do they have any significant role beyond caring for the grandchildren occasionally? And finally, the relationship between siblings as they grow up and leave their parents home is an important one to consider. Listen to this sermon as we discuss these relationships and what the Bible has to say about them.
