On Palm Sunday, the Lord Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on the colt, the foal of a donkey. This was in fulfilment of Zechariah’s prophecy concerning the Messiah in Zechariah 9:9. The Messiah comes in peace on a humble donkey and not on a warhorse. Jesus came to bring peace to Jerusalem, but the city was not ready for Him. Are we ready to receive the Messiah, the Lord Jesus?
