Proverbs 9:10 says, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.” This verse makes it clear that wisdom begins when we worship the true and living God. Worship is a deep enjoyment and satisfaction in God that results in our wholehearted love and devotion to Him. In the world that we live in, the worship of God is increasingly on the fringes, as we take centre stage. We only call upon Him when we need Him. For the most part we are busy with “real” life. Is there is wisdom in the pursuing this wholehearted love and devotion for God? This sermon deals with this question.
