True Christian concern is borne out of a heart and life that understands the gospel of God. When we begin to comprehend the depth of the love and grace of God for us in Christ Jesus it changes us. This happened in Paul’s life. He was a mob leader, arresting and even killing Christian’s before the Lord Jesus met him and changed his life. What we see in Romans 1:8 – 15 is a wonderful expression of that changed life. His example of Christian concern is instructive for us. True Christian concern is evident in these four ways:
- Celebrate one another’s faith
- Care for one another through fellowship
- Encourage one another through the Word
- Engage with those who don’t know Christ
